ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday rejected reports that claimed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) disgruntled leader Chaudhry Nisar has met party members.
In a statement issued by the party, it was said that there is no truth in reports that claim Nisar met senior party leadership. It was further said that “there has not been any meeting with Chaudhry Nisar and neither do party leaders plan to visit his residence”.
It was further mentioned that PTI chief was in Rawalpindi visiting membership camps, while leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi also accompanied when reports circulated. Then, it was added, Imran went to his Islamabad residence and neither did he nor Qureshi met with Nisar.
