KARACHI – Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad has said that improved law and order situation in Karachi has enhanced economic activities and created employment opportunities in the metropolis.
He was talking to Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana, who called on him at Governor House here on Monday. Dr. Ishrat told the Punjab governor about Karachi operation and improvement in law and order situation as a result of this action.
The Sindh governor said very positive results have been achieved of the action against terrorists, extortionists, target killers and elements involved in kidnapping for ransom.
He said that Karachi has once again started to become the ‘city of lights’, as Karachiites are enjoying social, cultural and recreational activities, while increase in economic activities has not only enhanced production in various fields, but also created job opportunities.
Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana told the Sindh governor about development activities and law and order situation in Punjab province.
